The series of prep games before the spring part of the league is over. The final game against Nitra was originally to take place on natural surface in Matúškovo, but because of the bad weather conditions it was eventually played in Trenčín. The home players seemed a bit disorganized in the first half, but they were excellent in the second. Nevertheless, in spite of several good opportunities they did not score and lost 0:2.

Already in the 6th minute, Peciar caught Barčík’s pass and drove the ball all the way into the rival’s penalty area, but his shot was weak. On the other side, Barčík rushed into the penalty area from the right side, found Semeník and he had no problems to score from a good position – 0:1 in the 9th minute. In the 17th minute, the visiting team kicked a standard situation from eighteen meters after Simunovič was fouled by Knapp. Barčík’s technical shot did not surprise Volešák. The technical midfield played very well. In the 26th minute, after his corner kick the ball got to Ďatko. The right defender shot from about twenty meters and the team of the coach Petar Kurčubič led 2:0. The home team did practically not get into a good scoring opportunity in the first half. The shot by Čirik in the 41st minute after Knapp’s standard situation was rather an exception.

There were a lot of substitutions in the second half. The exchanges brought more advantages to the home team. In the 50th minute, Čögley centered into the penalty area, but Depetris could not aim more accurately. The Argentinean forward had another chance after a perfect Kleščík’s pass. His shot from an excellent position was however weak and wide. Third Depetris’s chance – Racko fouled Ševela in the penalty area, but Tujvel caught the penalty kick of the best shooter of Trenčín in the prep period. Ereros was often engaging in the combinations of the home team in the second half. One of his centers found Depetris, but the Argentinean failed again. Ereros was then trying to endanger the rival’s goal after corner kicks, but he was not successful either. Bubenko’s arrival then meant even more danger for the visiting team, but neither his passes brought success. Trenčín therefore lost the final game of the winter prep period.
